Software to check website keywords SEO?
Im looking for a website or piece of software which tells me what keywords websites are using, does anyone happen to know if there is software that does this?
Also wondering if there is software which tells you exactly how many times those keywords appear in any given site, granted would be difficult to monitor off site optimization but surely there would be software for on site keyword monitoring.
The idea behind it was i want to use more keywords on site that competitors along side meta, title tags, h1, h2, h3, etc.
Anyone know any software that does this?
First off be very careful with keyword checking tools. Unless it is not used for Google. It is strictly against Google guide lines in some cases and can get you banned from Google, especially programs like keyword elite (which is not even accurate anyway). Trust me , if you get banned you will have to reset your ip and your mac address! IT WILL TAKE OUT YOUR ENTIRE NETWORK.
here is a great article on it http://www.kortia.com/keyword-elite.html.

I handle the first part of your question for myself by writing my own web crawler to crawl a specific web site for keyword density.
As for the second piece of your question, you are actually looking for semantic latency mapping. It’s the process of finding related terms that support your core term.
Below is a free semantic mapping tool. Just pop in your core term; it shoots back with three tiers of associated terms. These are all terms you should be stuffing in your copy.
