I think you want to build an autoresponder list? The program I have heard is the best around and most people use that are in marketing can be found in the link I provide below. You can try them out for $1 also.

Learning MySQL is going to be harder because you really need a method to build and test what you are doing. Not being sure what OS you are using, I don’t know if you can make use of XAMPP:

You could always look into content generators or a doorway page generator. You plugin the keywords you want to use and it will build the pages based on your layout and some will even go and scrape the content from other sites. Since you are only looking to gather email addresses of people looking for more information then I wouldn’t care how the pages were done, as long as it read well and the people filled in your short form. Search for content generators or content scrapers, and you will find exactly what you are looking for.
