Looking for expert SEO’s advice about PR?

June 15, 2010 - 4:10 am 2 Comments

Recently read the analogy about page rank. But one thing still mingling in my mind, for instance, if I get a back link from an unrank or maybe PR 0 web page but the domain homepage has 3 PR, which link juice will contribute into my PR? I mean does Google consider the home page PR or the unranked while assigning me a link juice? Expert advices required.

The one have linked will be contributed but it depends upon the type of SEO you did. Social Bookmarking is directly to your link while while directory submission is more on homepage. Hope this helps

How to become a SEO expert??

May 29, 2010 - 11:31 am 5 Comments

How to become an SEO expert?? How to become an SEO expert??????

Yeah, this is very difficult to answer this question. Search engine Optimization is the thing you have to learn it all by yourself. I can say that there will not be any schools or colleges for SEO courses. You will get many online programs to learn SEO. But all those programs are nothing but shit. You got many websites of full of resourses on SEO. Just remember What you know about SEO is much and more important than the certificate says that you are an SEO expert. You have to spend much and more amount of time on reading article, questions in forums, websites and lastly implementation. SEO is nothing but 20% theoritical and 80% implementation.

In my sense we can become an SEO expert only when we study about Search engine algorithms. In the whole web you cannot get how search engine algorithms are written. These algorithms are completely made secret.

First and foremost, understand what Google wants. Google wants to match searchers with what they are REALLY looking for.

That is your guiding principle.

Don’t try to game the system. You can do just fine by giving Google what it wants.

There are 5 basic principles to SEO:

1) Title Tags – make your page titles match your priority keywords.

2) Text Content – Your site must contain text that is useful to your visitors and includes your keywords.

3) Alt Tags – Every image on a page can be named with a keyword.

4) Header Tags – Each section of text can have a "headline" that includes your keywords.

5) Links – You need RELEVANT links from other web sites.

Do these things and you are off to a great start!

Is it proper English to say "a SEO expert" or "an SEO expert"?

May 26, 2010 - 3:13 pm 4 Comments

I think it should be" a seo expert". As far as I know, when the vowel is "a, e, i, o, u " , the article just use "an"

Number 1 Reason You Should Never Delete Your YouTube Videos

May 24, 2010 - 3:56 am 11 Comments

ALostPeople uploaded the video “Big Booty Bitches” a year and a half ago, and even though it was more popular than many videos uploaded to youtube, it wasn’t evtremely popular until a week ago, when popular Youtube blogger raywilliamjohnson made a vlog titled “big booty bitches” which was mostly about the video by A Lost People.
Haven’t seen it yet?

According to rules of most YouTube insiders and seo experts, if your video doesn’t get enough views, ratings and comments in the first 24 to 48 hours, that video is basically dead in the water and will never get enough views to be significant in the online world. Not true. Most seo experts and analysist are not YouTubers who realize that all it takes is a referral from a big fish on youtube. One refferal from a nigahiga or shanedawson could make any internet marketer or person with a monitized site into an overnight millionare. Its so amazing to me how none of the biggest YouTubers never have gotten into internet affiliate programs… not even the free ones… its a mystery to me how none of the youtube partners talk about free programs like http://peoplestring.com/?u=webpaycheck in such a bad economy. I guess either none of them know yet, or they are just out of touch with the fact that so many people really want to know how to make money online… I am sure hoping one day to get one guy with such a voice, but there is a special place in for people that send usolicited messages to people they don’t really know… So I’ll just keep trying to make a video that goes viral… and no more deleting:)

Question for SEO experts?

May 23, 2010 - 12:24 pm 2 Comments

Hi,
I’m running an online business, and I get pretty great income. Now I want to take a dive into SEO. Of course I can get a lot of help online, but I want an expert’s advice on how to start with it, and what exactly to do.
I am expert in on-page SEO, but I want more info on off-page SEO and social bookmarking.
Also, please let me know if there are some free tools to help me with that (I’m aware of Google Adwords Keyword tool only). I need someone to guide me. I’ll be really grateful if I get some tips from the pros.
Thanks!
I had 2 answers yesterday, and today I can’t see them… Who reported them??? Goddamn it… if there are links in answers, that doesn’t always mean they are spam… what is wrong with u guys???

When attaining backlinks (links to your website from other websites) it’s important to focus on websites with high pageranks. Even if a website links to you and you’re the only one they link to, if no one links to that website it’s useless.

Alexa.com offers one of the most effective ways of getting link juice. Enter some of your competitor’s websites into alexa.com and click sites linking in. You can see where they get most of their traffic, where they advertise, etc. It’s a very simple, yet effective way of finding ways to get targeted traf

Another effective way of attaining targeted backlinks is to find websites of the same topic as your own that aren’t direct competitors. For example: If you run a petstore, find a website talking about caring for pets that has a links page, and ask to be included in those links.

I’ve also listed some more generic websites designed to help websites like yours attain a higher pagerank.

Aboutus.org is a wiki to websites, allowing you to write an article about your website. If you write a professional sounding article, you can email them and get the "nofollow" tags removed, allowing Google to see you’re linked to from them. http://www.aboutus.org/ProFollow

Joeant.com is a directory of websites, primarily shopping related. You can choose exactly the right section for your website to be added to, and get targeted visitors. Adding your url is only $40, or, if you choose, you can volunteer to become an editor of a category, and attempt to add your website for free. Doing it the free way doesn’t guarantee acceptance, and delays the date of your website being added.

Dir.Yahoo.com is another directory of websites. This one has a much higher rate of visitation than any other, but is relatively expensive at $300 per year to list.

Stumbleupon.com, delicious.com, and mixx.com are all social bookmarking websites in which you can submit websites for others to comment on, and vote on. Digg.com is for uploading news stories, and is a very similar concept.

I hope this helps. If it does, please vote for this answer.
