please guide me what could be the consulting fees of an SEO expert on monthly basis. I would like to know the prices slabs in India & in Abroad. Since one of my friend asked me about this & his company is planning for an SEO consultant’s services for one year or so.

The company is located in India. I need the SEO experts monthly basis consultancy charge. The organization is very big and international.(can not specify the name of it)

BPlease also give me the pricing for Abroad SEO experts consulting on a monthly basis(1 year contract).

This question is impossible to ask. It’s far too vague with no details of what type of work is needed, how many hours per month is expected, how the site currently ranks for it’s targeted keywords, how competive the targeted keywords are, etc. which is likely why your post has sat here for 2 days with zero responses. It’s like asking, "How much will it cost to go to the emergency room?" Could be $100… could be $50,000 depending on what is wrong with you, what kind of tests they have to perform, how long you have to stay,and how expensive they are.

You can find SEO wannabees in India that will work for $2-3 dollars per hour. But if they are charging that cheap a rate they know VERY little about SEO other than a few buzz words. I charge $125/hr for SEO work regardless of whether I’m building links, developing .htaccess files for 301 redirects, doing on-page SEO, etc. and get more side consulting work than I can do outside of my "real" full-time SEO job. But I produce results and have references.

Generally speaking, you get what you pay for. If someone is willing to work for almost nothing, then don’t expect a lot of value and results from what they deliver. If someone charges more (and has good references to back it up) then they generally deliver a MUCH better product.

Recently read the analogy about page rank. But one thing still mingling in my mind, for instance, if I get a back link from an unrank or maybe PR 0 web page but the domain homepage has 3 PR, which link juice will contribute into my PR? I mean does Google consider the home page PR or the unranked while assigning me a link juice? Expert advices required.

The one have linked will be contributed but it depends upon the type of SEO you did. Social Bookmarking is directly to your link while while directory submission is more on homepage. Hope this helps

Yeah, this is very difficult to answer this question. Search engine Optimization is the thing you have to learn it all by yourself. I can say that there will not be any schools or colleges for SEO courses. You will get many online programs to learn SEO. But all those programs are nothing but shit. You got many websites of full of resourses on SEO. Just remember What you know about SEO is much and more important than the certificate says that you are an SEO expert. You have to spend much and more amount of time on reading article, questions in forums, websites and lastly implementation. SEO is nothing but 20% theoritical and 80% implementation.

In my sense we can become an SEO expert only when we study about Search engine algorithms. In the whole web you cannot get how search engine algorithms are written.These algorithms are completely made secret.

First and foremost, understand what Google wants. Google wants to match searchers with what they are REALLY looking for.

That is your guiding principle.

Don’t try to game the system. You can do just fine by giving Google what it wants.

There are 5 basic principles to SEO:

1) Title Tags – make your page titles match your priority keywords.

2) Text Content – Your site must contain text that is useful to your visitors and includes your keywords.
