What sort of link structure is best for SEO?

June 1, 2010 - 3:58 am 2 Comments

For my main navigation, from an SEO perspective, which of the below links is best:

1. http://www.mysite.com/directory/page-name.php
2. http://www.mysite.com/directory/page-name/ (with an index page within)

Any advice is welcome! Thanks!

When it comes to the benefit of SEO and links structure there is no difference having it with the index page or not, it’s better to have shorter url’s that contain the appropriate keywords.

www.stie.com/keyword is better the www.site.com/abc/keyword

Hopefully I understood your question correctly.
